I had this gear installed professionally since I had no idea where it went in the scooter. As it turns out it is far back in the transmission and I was happy to have it installed by a pro mechanic. With just the power pack and gear and belt without the IMAP I am 3 Miles faster per hour taking my scooter to 54 MPH GPS confirmed. Based upon that I think this gear is great!
