
1. move piston to TDC, when the kick indicator is showing the metal bit
2. take off the front valve cover with an allen key
3. remove the allen bolt holding the old decomp fitting in place
4. remove the bolt on the top also, this is like a locking pin that holds the decomp shaft in place.
5. needle nose pliers and remove the tension spring
6. Pull everything out.
7. put the new one in, reinstall the tension spring and the top locking pin bolt thing.
I put the old allen bolt in even though there was no further use for it, i didnt want sand and water sitting in the hole. Just plug it with the old bolt !
- Good seat, cleans up the W800/W650 nicely. Quality quite high. Seat feels firm and perhaps too firm for long rides but you get used to it. Your gf will be in your ear about how much her bum hurts.
