Products to buy together: The timing and crankshaft hole cap O-Rings from K-Pit would also be desirable to purchase alongside the tappet cover O-Rings. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about 15 minutes, remove the tappet covers and use an O-Ring removal tool so not to damage the surface where the O-Ring seats. Apply a little engine oil and install the O-Rings evenly and untwisted before tightening down the covers. Run the engine and make sure no leaks are present. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting a quality part from K-Pit that was in stock and ready to ship unlike the Honda O-Rings but the K-Pit O-Rings is slightly more expensive. Do not over tighten the plug as the manual only calls out for 8 N.m.
