Genuine Yamaha Crank Case Cover Gasket for MT09 2020
This was the crank case cover gasket that was to replace the old gasket after the crank case cover swap. No point in using an old gasket when you can easily get a genuine replacement Yamaha one for this money. Finding the right gasket was easy as I already had the schematic for the crank case cover anyway. The price for the new gasket was really good value too and added to teh order, it was shipped using EMS and arrived in 5 days. The gasket was kept nice and flat during transit and was in perfect condition upon arrival. Witht he new crank case cover and this gasket, the job was very straight forward and took literally half an hour to complete. The gasket is very well made and is teh exact same one as I removed so I knew it was all good. The mount holes all aligned up with the crank case cover. Very pleased, thanks Webike.
This was a part that was needed for the YZF-R1 that came in. This was in need of a new o-ring for the crank case 3 that was also being changed. It just makes sense to change the o-ring too as the old one was not great. I did not know the history of this bike and with checking the old o-ring, it certainly needed a new one. I found the right o-ring by using the tools Webike provide on their help section and then cross referencing with Yamaha schematics for my own peace of mind. I did have a couple of other parts I needed to order so I just got them all at the same time. My preferred courier is EMS as they just get the orders to me fast and efficiently. In 5 days from being shipped the order arrived. Everything was well packaged and no damage at all. Even the smaller parts were packed in bubble wrap for safety. This o-ring was inside the standard Yamaha packet and was in perfect condition. The quality is brilliant. It is a nicely made o-ring and there were no extra bits of rubber attached like you get with some after market brands. I double checked the diameter and it was exactly as it should be. I wipe a little oil on the o-ring in this section as it helps to stop from pinching or breaking the new o-ring upon install. Once fitted, there is a nice tight seal with zero leaks, even after a steady warm up. Great purchase, very happy customer. Thank you Webike.View Detail
After having to remove the crankcase cover on this bike, one of the shaft pins decided it was not going to play nicely and snapped off. Only one way to fix this and that was to buy a brand new shaft pin. I did look around locally but none of the dealers had these in stock and with it being an older bike, they would have to order from Japan. No point in wasting that time when I can just order from Webike. Less hassle, I know when the delivery will be made and probably cheaper in the long run. Finding the right shaft pin was easy using the Yamaha schematics which you can find online. Webike price was as expected, a lower price that I found anywhere else. With some other parts for this bike, I got them all shipped using EMS. Together meant the shipping was cheaper too. 5 days later, the order arrived in perfect condition. The shaft pin came in the Yamaha packet and was very well made. The machining on this shaft pin is spot on. Smooth face and the edges were well smoothed down too. I did have a little problem removing the older, snapped shaft pin but once that was free, this new one slotted straight into place with no fuss. The shaft pin now means the crankcase cover can be reassembled and the gasket can also sit in the right place with zero movement. Thanks Webike, you guys rock. View Detail
As with a lot of these older bikes, at some point you just want to spruce them up a bit. This is where we are at with this YZF-R1 2010 model. The crankcase covers were not too great and getting them replaced and not just repainting was a far cheaper alternative. I found the right part number by checking Yamaha schematics and then inputting that on Webike website. The price Webike had this for was fantastic value for money and better than I could source locally. After adding to my basket, the other parts I needed to order for this bike were all shipped together. This saved on shipping costs and I know that all the parts I need for this job would arrive tat the same time. After only 5 days my order arrived in the UK. The parts were all professionally packaged and there was no signs of damage to the box or contents. This crankcase cover was inside a sturdy Yamaha box. The finish on the cover was a lovely satin black which seems to be the norm for most Yamaha covers. The workmanship on this crankcase cover is excellent but you would not expect anything other than that from Yamaha. A great Japanese company. These were another part that was for a smaller bike I got in from a customer. This time it is the rear brake pads for the YZF-R6 2001 as the old ones were well beyond their usage. I did not change the rear pads on the last service as they were perfectly good and had a lot of use still in them. Usually on this bike, the front need changing twice as often as the rear anyway. Finding the right ones was easy but checking on Yamaha schematics and then searching for this part number on Webike YZF-R6 model. Luckily, they had a set in their warehouse and so added to my order. EMS shipped my order and all arrived in perfect condition in 5 days from being shipped. Everything was well padded out in the box so there was no damage. These pads are Yamaha pads and do last quite a while, probably longer than these should have as the customer clearly prefers the front brake to the rear. The pad material is even and looks pretty tasty for a small bike. Perhaps not sintered but they do have some heavy compound in them. This was one part of the big rebuild of the clutch and piston for the WR400F 2000 model. This gasket is for the cylinder head. The price for this part was very good from Webike and because I had a lot of parts needed for this rebuild I got them all together to save on shipping. The parts were not too difficult to find by using the tools Webike provide and cross referencing with Yamaha schematics. Upon receipt from EMS which arrived in 5 days from being shipped from Webike warehouse, the gasket is in one piece and no signs of damage at all. The gasket is made very well and is stiff but flexible enough to manoeuvre into place. Not really much else I can say at this point about the gasket. The true test will be when the bike is back together and started. Once all the parts were assembled and in place where I needed them the big refit commenced. This bike came in for a bit of a service and new oil change including filter for this MT07. The filter was easy to find, it also fits a few different models so is readily available. The price was really good, and still better than could source locally for the same Yamaha part. As I always have more than one part in each order, the cost of shipping is really good. I generally use EMS Fast service as it gets to me very quickly and the tracking is full, I mean full as in every step of the journey. I know exactly when the order will be delivered, the delivery has always been on time. Every part in the order was well packaged as expected and the outer box was sealed on all sides so none of my smaller parts could escape. There is not really much to say about the finish of this oil filter as there is not really much you can see, the paint is clean and the threaded part is super smooth. The seal is intact and no tears, rips of dinks. Nothing is bad with Yamaha oil filters at all. Never had any problems. The paint on the outer is really good and no runs or blemishes on it at all. The filter threaded on really easily and obviously, with any oil filter change, a small amount of oil on the end just to help seal. Fitted in no time at all and filled the oil in the engine. I had forgotten about some of the smaller parts to refurb the seat bracket on the Ninja 1000SX and this included a few collars and bolts etc. Time to order all of those to help the project along. Finding the right collars was pretty easy as I had already seen the Kawasaki schematics for the section I needed. These collars are small and yes, you could possible reuse the old parts but as this did not have any anyway, I needed to purchase them. For this project I needed 2 so added to my basket and a few other small parts. I had them all shipped together which would save a little on shipping costs too. Every little helps you know. EMS had my delivery made within 5 days from being shipped which you cannot argue with. These small collars and some of the bolts were inside a bubble wrap envelope to keep them safe and also to stop them from being lost etc. The packaging was a simple Kawasaki bag but that was fine. The collars are not really much to look at but they are very well made and are exact tot he specifications needed for the job in hand. Once fitted I will update my review. One happy customer. There was nothing particularly wrong with the old part structurally but it did look in bad shape with the colouring of the metal etc. Time for a new one. Finding the right oil pipe was easy by checking the Yamaha schematics. The oil pipe itself is a good size but that is not really reflected in the price, very good value for money in my books. I did have a couple of other parts in my order for this bike and got them all shipped as one and saved a few pounds too. The shipping took 5 days and all my order was intact and perfect. The pipe does come in the standard Yamaha packet and was surrounded with bubble wrap. As this is an oil pipe it needs to take a bit of heat and with the quality of this pipe, I know they do last. Unfortunately after 15 years of UK road grime and grit, the metal has taken a beating and needed changing. This new pipe is fantastic. Perfect. Not really much else I can say about this as there were no issues in the oil pipe or in fitting it. Looks a lot better than the old pipe which did by miles. Very pleased. View Detail
