Kitaco 6.5N Front Fork Springs give correct suspension sag.
Stiffer fork springs were necessary to obtain correct suspension sag for my (75kg) weight on my GROM. I chose the 6.5N type option and this gave ideal static and race sage for my weight. Best of all, no more bottoming out on nearly every bump like just entering a driveway or when stopping quickly. Fitting requires special tools and took me a few hours. The fitting instructions recommend using a gas torch to denature the stanchions thread locking product but I found a electric heat gun can attain a high enough temperature to achieve the same result. As usual the Kitaco Front fork spring kit was comprehensive (including a Kitaco decal would be nice). I noticed that the Kitaco 6.5N type springs were shorter (free length) than the STD. Grom springs and wound from thicker stock than the OEM. spring as would be expected. I recon stiffer front fork springs are a MUST for most grom riders, here in Australia.
* About quality and texture, The Kitaco front fork springs are available in 4 different hardnesses which is helpful as it caters to everyones needs. Steel springs with colour coded marking to reference the 4 different options.* About the feeling of use, Once installed the feel while riding around town and on the open road is much improved, especially under hard braking.* Products to buy together, You will now also be wanting to do something about the rear shock absorbers. Kitaco offer a introductory level option and a premium option made in development with Gears.* Difficulty of installation, The installation is challenging and does require special tooling for working with this design front fork. The process was completed in 120 minutes with some difficultly.* Cost performance and comparison with other products, The Kitaco front fork springs are by far the best value option available. If you are just looking to upgrade the springs only then don't look elsewhere.* About shipping and packaging, I am happy to wait 6 weeks on average for my parts to arrive in Sydney Australia via Webike's sea freight which comes with tracking and insurance so I know I'm covered in case something was to go wrong but with there outstanding bubble wrapping and boxing there have been no problems.* Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing, Take your time to research which spring hardness is best for your weight and riding style. Use the product reviews to assist in making a decision on your purchase.View Detail
About quality and texture - Excellent quality, nice to have the O-rings included.About the feeling of use - So much better now, the front end no longer dives on regular braking.Products to buy together - A set of rear shocks are now required to complement this front fork spring upgrade.Difficulty of installation - This is a hard installation which takes time, you will also be needing a heat gun and Kitaco's special tool product # 674-1432500.Cost performance and comparison with other products - Great price for the springs but then the additional tool required makes it expensive.About shipping and packaging - Shipping was slow but as expected since I went with the cheaper by sea freight option.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Take note that the lower fork legs unscrews clockwise and I used 10w fork oil with my setup.View Detail
The springs fitted correctly & are much better than the soft OEM springs. They feel firmer & you don't get the bike wanted to dive on hard braking.Fitment was easy enough but you will need a way of holding the fork tubes during the swap over & a way of heating the bottom of the fork leg.I used a heat gun & worked very easy.View Detail
The OEM fork springs for my Honda Monkey 125 are just too soft. It is nice that Kitaco offer these upgraded fork springs in four different ratings to suit everyone needs and at a fantastic price. After some research I decided to go with the type 6.0N for my weight 75 kilograms which is a little on the stiffer side but what I like. The maintenance job to change the fork springs is difficult and required special tooling which Kitaco produce and is available from Webike. I am now very happy with how the motorcycle handles on the road.View Detail
I purchased the 5.5N springs. Huge improvement! The bouncy response of the stock setup is gone. And even under very hard braking, the front no longer dives and bottoms out. There is much better feedback and confidence in the corners. This is one of the most important safety upgrades that should be done on the Grom/MSX125. It is also one of the best values out there. If you don't want to pay the high-cost of a full valve/spring replacement kit, this is a very decent, affordable option.View Detail

Honda Genuine Part 42601-121-690 fits all my Honda CT110 1996 standard wheel parts (110mm brake). NO modification required, everything fits. My original OEM rear hub was unservicale. So I choose the 42601-121-690 over the 42601-153-600ZA because it is Silver. As a genuine part made in Japan it is of high standard.I like the contrast of the silver hub in the black rim with rays of shiny stainless spokes, thank you Webike Japan.View Detail
The SP Takegawa TC20 fixes all the carburation problems caused by cheap Chinese replacement carburettors. The TC20 appears to be a PC20 with the idle and air mixture screws on the left side of the carburettor body. There is no need for adjustment when fitted to a standard tune CT110, the TC20 is set perfect from the workshop. I tried adjusting it "richer" via mixture (1/2turn) and/or needle position (2nd position) and this gave slight hesitation. The TC20 makes my standard (72xxxkm) CT110 carburate cleanly with all the power available everywhere.Fitting is a easy swap using a pod air filter and basic tools. The standard fairing still fits if one trims the choke lever as depicted. Only drag is the need (must have) for a 2 into 1 fuel cock that can be had from (Kitaco) Webike Japan, of course.I recon this TC20 is the first tuning part one should install even before a performance exhaust, the responce it gives between 50-70kmh is better than the OEM carburettor and removes that mystery roughness from any inferior Chinese OEM copy. Best investment for my CT110!View Detail
My first Aluminum Wide Wheel Rim Kit, I chose SP Takegawa with Takasago EXCEL 17" rims because they look so cool. I used stainless spokes to highlight and contrast the difference between old hub and new rim, OEM(110mm)hub). The SP Takegawa Aluminum Wide Wheel Rim Kit is my only custom ~3000km to photo. Had the SP Takegawa 17" rims professionally laced to my OEM hub. Takasago EXCEL specs say their rims are heaver than OEM steel, you can't feel the difference of the Aluminum Wide Wheel Rim Kit they just feel nice and solid/stiff. My SP Takegawa EXCEL kit with a wider footprint both ends, makes it so much more fun to ride my Honda. Thank you SP Takegawa and Webike Japan.View Detail
The Kitaco SERVICE MANUAL for CRANKCASE is worth it's weight in Gold. The information in it is transferable to ANY horizontal Honda style engine. Printed in Japanese with more than enough English captions, no information is lost. And the information it contains will turn you into a professional if you peruse it enough. Nothing is lost in translation and as usual a picture says a thousand words. I recon this manual should be brought before you waste money on a non-genuine service manual for you horizontal Honda motor. In fact the price of the Kitaco Crankcase and it's other half the Cylinder Head, Cylinder & Piston manual together along with shipping (from WEBIKE JAPAN, of course) will probably be less than a non-genuine manual for your specific engine. I think these manuals will eventually become collectors items. A must have if you "dig" the horizontal engine and it will save you money in the end. Invest now!View Detail
The Hurricane HB0038B handle bar gives my GROM a very road sport style ride position. They allows me to quickly crouch and easily tuck in my elbows when needed. The HB0038's bring the hands to a lower position while moving the body forward and stop my body catching the wind and being buffeted. This position must also move more weight onto the front wheel I recon. Fitment required basic tools and about an hour, get new hand-grips (Webike Japan, when you purchase the bars) don't bother trying to refit the standard GROM hand grips. I use a Honda CB750 clutch cable (from Webike Japan) which is a bit longer and allows smoother bends and gives better clutch pull/feel I recon. You CAN use the standard GROM clutch cable. The Hurricane HB0038 handle bar bend re positions the standard mirrors to give a better field of view for more safe riding in my opinion. These HB0038's replaced HB0039's on my GROM and will be staying on as they are the most comfortable of the two Hurricane "Foward" style bars.View Detail
