I can't tell you how pleased I am with this ignition. I bought it for my zr550 based on the glowing reviews on Webike. Phrases like "torque is overflowing", "it is like a turbo", and "it was like riding a liter bike for the first time [for a zr400]" caught my attention. I experienced every one of those sensations after installing the SPII. Even without adjusting the ignition curves, my bike felt much stronger. After cranking the advance up to the max, the bike transformed into the hyper-responsive little torque monster screamer I've lusted after since I first started modifying it. I'm not sure how the SPII would affect a bike that is completely stock. I've got zx550 cams, a Factory Pro Stage I jet kit, Kerker race exhaust and K&N filter. For me at least, the results have been phenomenal - much more noticeable power gain than any of the previous mods. I can't recommend this product highly enough. It's the best money I've spent on my bike. I'm going to get the bike professionally tuned now, largely to make sure I don't have the advance set high enough to cause damage. I had a good impression when I installed it on my V-MAX, so I put it on my DR-Z as well. Engine leadership has improved. Top gear reduced the rattling at the same low speed (45km/h). The high rpm was not as impactful as I thought it would be, but the vibration seems to have decreased. However, was there a drastic decrease of the V-MAX? I don't think I've reached that point. It may be easier to get the effect for the old car category before 1990.
The difficulty is Wiring. Wiring itself is very easy (around 30min), just replacing Coupler. It took me almost 4 hours of searching (try and error) to find a place to fit the Coupler.
Originally, DR-Z is a Motorcycle with no room for Space, so it's not a problem with the product in question, but As a result, I opened the air cleaner box and put some Coupler in it. (You can't see it with Cover.) I might have pushed too hard, but I didn't have enough room for it, because the motorcycle I was forced to wire in the past was a trouble that was broken by vibration later.View Detail
Easy to install even for amateur maintenance. It would be better if there was a service manual. LargeIt only takes about an hour to remove and install the OEM Product, so it should be very durable. If you don't mind handling the wiring, you can install it without any problems. It's also more fun to actually change the settings when you start running. I used YOSHIMURAExhaust System and YOSHIMURATMR Carburetor together, and the sound became more large and the torque became louder. I'm currently using it on setting 7 or 8 and may need to adjust the Carburetor in the Shop where I have Dynamo if I want to set it up properly.View Detail
This system could mods your bike differently, much torc, more responsive and your bike sounds better. The crank sound really great for my Honda Monkey 125.View Detail

Installed and have started the engine with no problem, unstable RPM after less than 30 seconds, throttle then Misfire ! I have been trying back and forth with the original igniter and SP2 5 times already , the original igniter and cable still work fine after 20 years but SP2 still the same , It doesnt work on 2003 Honda FTR223. What a bad experience. View Detail
I ordered the AS Uotani SPII Power Coils kit from Webike.net and it was delivered in a reasonable time in a well prepared package. No problems at all to receive!!! I have replaced the 15yo coils of my GSX1400 2008 (Special Edition) by the SPII coils with the Power Amplify. The replacement was not difficult (despite the instructions in japanese - tks google translator image). The bike is now running very smoothly. It had worth the investment particularly with the difficulty to find the original parts. But this in fact revealed to be a much better option.I would suggest the supplier to invest in an english version of the product description/instructions. View Detail
About quality and texture The quality of the product is very highAbout the feeling of use I get the impression that idling is stable.Products to buy together Coil cable, bracketDifficulty of installation It can be easily installed by using a 7mm coil cable, or it is not easy to process the cable Cost performance and comparison with other products I used an ig coil and bought it for a startup, but I don't think I felt the difference from the ig coil. The price is twice as high as the components, but it becomes three times more expensiveAbout shipping and packaging It took a week and the packaging is greatAny concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing I recently changed it to ngk powercable, but I bought it to increase the number of startups, but the app100 exclusive product was expensive, so I bought SPII Universal High Power Coil and Monkey Frame Mounting Bracket together and installed it well. The ngk cable combination was installed well installedView Detail
Not happy at all with this product. It's made of some kind of fiberglass material, which is fine, and the mold maybe is fine, but whoever made it was so sloppy I can't even believe this is being sold as an actual product. The fender itself was a bit uneven, then the holes on either side were unaligned with each other, and beyond that, neither alignment actually fit well with the holes on the bike frame. What a mess. What should have been a 1 hour job took me all day as I had to carefully align everything and redrill holes in the right places. After all that work, I don't even like the look of the fender on my bike. I'm giving this 2 stars rather than 1 since at least there is a fenderless option for the zr400/550 C, and with some work you can get it to fit, but what a disappointment. View Detail
Unfortunately this doesn't even remotely fit a Zephyr 400/550. It looks like it's designed for a completely different model. The length isn't correct to lay properly on the forks, and there is not enough room under the headlight to install it. The photo on Webike looks like a zr750, and at least this fits under the headlight on that model, though even there you can see the width is too short to properly lay on the forks Beyond all that, this product is made of chromed plastic, not metal. Quite disappointed. View Detail
Bought this for my 1990 Zephyr 550. I wasn't confident that it would have much of an effect, or that I would like whatever effect it did have, but after reading just about every T-rev review on Webike (almost all of which are four or five stars) and checking out some of the cool trev videos on YouTube, I took a chance. Result: I couldn't be happier. I'm not sure how best to describe the effect except to say that my bike rides much smoother now. It's more "civilized." Smoother idle, shifting and deceleration. Imagine you had a passenger and you were trying your best to make her ride as comfortable as possible. You'd be gentle with the shifting, maybe feathering the clutch to ease the transitions. That's what this feels like - a gentler ride without having to expend the mental energy of babying all the transitions. The best part is at highway speeds. Say you've got the throttle wide open. Normally when you release the throttle you'd feel a sharp deceleration. With this thing, the bike just keeps going smoothly. Less herky jerky stop-go. More flow. Some fellow riders suggested just buying a cheap PCV or check valve instead. I don't think that would work. As I understand it, the t-rev consists of reed valves that open and close with each piston movement, thousands of times per minute. I don't think PCV valves operate on the same timescales - they're either open or closed (or maybe open a varying amount according to engine speed, but not opening and closing with each cycle). There are a few downsides. For Zephyrs and GPZ's, this installs in the airbox, so it's a bit of pain to put in (have to remove the tank). And you can't see it, which is a shame because it's a nice looking piece of kit. I'm also wondering if it has a negative effect on airflow, though I haven't noticed any decline in performance (If anything, my bike seems more responsive). Another drawback is that these require maintenance - cleaning every 10K km and overhaul at 20K km ($50USD for an overhaul kit). And lastly, the price is ridiculous. That said, I think it's worth the money and am very happy with my purchase. View Detail
