Touring made more comfortable, New features for the EZ-SHiFTER

TERAMOTO's "EZ-SHiFTER" enables gear changes without clutch operation. The installed program is optimized for each bike model and significantly reduces impact during gear changes. It also contains a specially designed magnetic sensor shifter switch for smooth gear change. And now, TERAMOTO will be adding new optional functions for this "EZ-SHiFTER". First, the "EZ-Cruise" speed control function, which was developed with emphasis on smooth speed adjustment as well as functionality and operability. It includes a re-acceleration function, enabling a comfortable ride for all types of road conditions. Next, the "EZ-Limiter" function, which enables safe and smooth riding in situations where speed adjustment at low speeds is necessary, such as in ETC lanes.

EZ-SHiFTER

Designed exclusively for each bike model, so it can be used immediately after installation. Settings can also be changed with an optional communication device. The shifter switch uses a highly durable magnetic sensor. Produced and manufactured in Japan, testing was carried out many times throughout the production process by the company's racing rider, Koji Teramoto.

Cruise controller that maintains a constant speed without operating the accelerator. The system has been tested under all possible street conditions to ensure smooth speed adjustment. Operability and safety have also been thoroughly tested. The LED indicator light turns on when activated, and the control switch is machined from a solid piece of metal.

Adjusting speed when riding at low speeds requires subtle accelerator control. With this limiter, speed is limited to 45km/h, so for example when you are riding through the toll booth in an ETC lane, there is no need to worry about running into the bar, or about how much distance there is between you and the vehicle behind you. It also eliminates the jerkiness you can feel when riding at low speeds and the settings prevent sudden acceleration when the limiter is released.
