PLEASURE's Z125 PRO

2022-09-07_pleasure_z125pro_1.jpg

This can't be anything other than the Ninja H2, a flagship model of Kawasaki. At first glance, you must have thought so. However, when you look the engine in the picture, you will find it an air-cooled single cylinder engine. In fact, this is a complete custom model based on the Z125 PRO. The clip-on handles, the blinkers for built-in mirrors and the headlight are aftermarket parts, but other parts are made of FRP and painted by PLEASURE.

There are 18 FRP exterior parts, and a total of 36 molds made for them. The exhaust part was reproduced as a small container, and even the tubular steel trellis frame of the H2 was made by FRP modeling and painting. More specifically, the supercharger section and even the details such as the fork tops were reproduced in the same way. It seems that they do not sell exterior kits, but only complete production based on the new Z125 PRO.

The clip-on handles that create the H2 look are made by Hurricane, the mirrors are by Kijima (the front side has a cover molded by PLEASURE and PLOT SEC blinkers built in), and the headlights are PIAA, which are the only parts used other than molded parts.

The bike has such a natural look that no one wonders if this is a Z125 PRO. The Kawasaki mark, which is in the same position as on the Ninja H2, is retrofitted.

Not only the tank cover, but also other parts such as cowl ducts and even the fork top adjusters are all made of FRP molded by PLEASURE.

The single seat, which also has the Ninja H2 emblem affixed to the side, is not out of place in the overall sense of balance. This area was also molded FRP.

The large silencer, one of the Ninja H2's distinctive features, has been reproduced and is used as a small accessory box on this "H2" model. The tail end is used as a lid, and can accomodate two 500ml plastic bottles. The true exhaust system is located under the step, and the exhaust outlet can be seen.

Even the air ducts running along the left side (center of photo) and the rounded relay in the middle of the frame are made of FRP, making it tempting to place the Ninja H2 side by side with the Ninja H2.

The highlight of the right side is the cover that houses the supercharger unit in the real Ninja H2 (center of photo).
