2%er's SR500
This SR500 based long-fork chopper, with styling reminiscent of sometime in the past, can be considered a masterpiece of 2%er craftsmanship. The owner is the vocalist of the popular Malaysian band "HUJAN." During his visit to Japan, he liked 2%er representative's bike and decided to create a similarly styled machine. The front fork was extended by 25cm using the store's original 15cm long inner tube and a 10cm fork joint. The frame processing, which includes a looped frame with a gently dropped seat rail, combined with a 280mm G suspension, creates a stunning silhouette.
The sportster-type fuel tank and the high-back seat that suits the sissy bar are one-offs, contributing to the bike's high level of originality. The paint job was carried out by the 2%er representative himself at the BACON workshop on his days off, taking about 6 months! This reflects the extraordinary enthusiasm and passion he has for this machine. It was unveiled at the JOINTS event held in Nagoya in August and is undoubtedly running well in Malaysia now.
Handle
The headlight is a simple Bates type. The front fork is a combination of a long type and a joint, making it 25cm longer.
The handlebar is the store's original vintage replica 10-inch pull-back handlebar. It is a perfect item for the wild chopper style.
Bodyworks
The Sportster type fuel tank is a one-off. The paint job was done with the help of BACON.
The "Hole Type Sissy Bar Kit" is the standard for the store's choppers. The high-back seat that enhances the appearance is a one-off.
Engine
The stock 500 engine combined with FCR carburetor. The funnel and manifold are store originals.
Intake & Exhaust
The highly raised exhaust features the store's original Universal Tapered Fishtail Silencer and a one-off exhaust pipe, which matches the machine's style perfectly.
Chassis
A mid-high step kit is installed to create the perfect riding position. The condition of the bracket adds to the mood of the bike.
The front and rear wheels are stock 18 inch. The classic pattern LOADSTAR complements the rear view.
