Bản độ KZ650 của Mechadock

Kawasaki Z650 (1976~) là mẫu xe được biết đến với tên gọi "Sirloin Steak" và có biệt danh "Zapper" nhờ khả năng lướt gió và chạy nhẹ nhàng. Trong bài viết này, chúng tôi giới thiệu một chiếc Z650 độ của Mechadock, người đã nhận được yêu cầu từ một khách hàng để làm cho chiếc xe nhẹ hơn, nhanh hơn và dễ lái hơn.

The swingarm pivot was reinforced, and a Z750 engine was installed and upgraded to 850cc with a forged piston kit. A YOSHIMURA ST-1 camshaft and a KEIHIN Φ35mm carburetor were also added. The bike features KYB Φ38mm front forks and stem, along with a PMC angled aluminum swingarm. To lower the ride height, the rear shocks were shortened, and the front fork protrusion was adjusted. Additionally, the seat was also cut down. Despite all the modifications, the final result looks natural and cohesive. The bike's weight was reduced to the 180kg range, achieving the desired combination of lightness, speed, and braking power.

Electrical

The speedometer remains stock, while the tachometer is a STACK ST200 installed in the stock case. In addition, a YOSHIMURA PROGRESS Meter has been added to the center. An ACTIVE high throttle has also been installed. The front master and clutch holders attached to the low handlebar are by GALE SPEED.

Bodyworks

The fuel tank and other bodyworks remain as stock Z650. The seat, on the other hand, has been internally modified and reshaped to help the owner's leg reach.

Engine

The 850cc engine was originally for the GPZ750 and was upgraded with Bagus! Motorcycle's forged piston and sleeve kit. Additionally, a Yoshimura ST-1 cam shaft was also installed.

Intake & Exhaust

The intake and exhaust system includes FCR Φ35mm carburetors with 3D air filters, as well as a Speed Shop Ito 4-1 megaphone exhaust.

Chassis

PMC KYB Φ38mm front forks are installed using a PMC stem, while Brembo calipers and SUNSTAR brake discs are used for the front brakes.

The swingarm is made by PMC, and the rear shocks are made by Nitron. The JB-POWER MAGTAN JB4 wheels are also installed. The front and rear sizes are 2.75-18 and 4.00-18, respectively. For the rear brake, Brembo calipers and SUNSTAR brake discs are also used. Dunlop Roadsmart III tires are fitted, with sizes 110/80R18 for the front and 150/70ZR18 for the rear.
